Leslie Hayertz is the author of one-act plays, two novels, Down to the Soul and The Lady Photographer’s Sister, a book of short stories for middle grade readers, You Can’t Pick Your Ghosts and a Spanish workbook, The Subwhative?. She lives near the confluence of the Tualatin and Willamette Rivers and teaches Spanish in the Portland Metro area
