Jamie has been a member of NIWA since 2011. Since 2016 he has served in the President's seat in addition to his other duties as Events Director, and Webmaster. His is committed to the mission of NIWA and to expanding the organization and its brand.

Frances Lu-Pai Ippolito
Vice-President Frances Lu-Pai Ippolito (she/her) is a Chinese American judge, mom, and writer in Portland, Oregon. Her writing has appeared in Nightmare Magazine, Flame Tree’s Asian Ghost Stories, Chromophobia, Mother: Tales of Terror and Love, Death’s Garden Revisited, and Unquiet Spirits. She is the founder of game and book publisher Demagogue Press and the nonprofit, Qilin Press, which focuses on diverse, marginalized voices. Frances also co-chairs the Young Willamette Writers program that provides free writing classes for high school and middle school students over Zoom and Beaverton City Library. Elizabeth Beechwood
Secretary Elizabeth is a new member as of 2024. She has experience as an administrative assistant and has been taking meeting notes for years.

Andretta has been a member of NIWA since 2019. In 2020 she volunteered to serve as NIWA's treasurer. She is very knowledgeable in accounting and dealing with Washington's and Oregon's state regulations.

Pamela Cowan
Anthology & Newsletter Editor Pam has been a member since 2011 and during the course of her membership has served on the board in various positions including Treasurer, Secretary, Graphic designer, and Communications Director.

Ann Ornie
Membership Director [email protected] Ann has been a member of NIWA since 2021. She has been the Membership Director since 2022. She is the author of the Cozy Mystery Summoning Spruce and Life Pushing Through - a poetry collection.

Tom McConnell
Storage Librarian storage Tom has been a member of NIWA since 2014. In 2020 he volunteered to take over the Membership Director position, but with the pandemic, he became NIWA's first Social Media director. In 2022, he graciously took on the role of NIWA's Storage Librarian.
