Science Fiction often deals with science and technology of the future but is still rooted in actual principles of science to make it believable. Sci-Fi is often set in the future, in space, on a different planet and/or in universe, in a different dimension. There are multiple sub-genres of sci-fi. These include but are not limited to: 1) Hard Sci-Fi which leans toward scientific accuracy. 2) Cyberpunk with new world, high-tech. 3) Soft Sci-Fi which focuses more on the characters and away from the details of science. 4) Time Travel. 5) Apocalyptic and Dystopian.
