NEIL ORINTNeil Orint grew up on Vashon Island, Washington and now lives in Seattle. His short story Private Dancer was featured in the NIWA 2016 Anthology and his short story Towers and Bridges was published in the NIWA 2017 Anthology. Towers and Bridges was also a Finalist in the 2017 PNWA Literary Contest.
Neil has worked as a journalist and travel writer, and has created award-winning content for major software companies. He's an active member of the South Seattle Writer's Group and the Northwest Independent Writers Association (NIWA). Growing up in the Pacific Northwest has given him an innate appreciation of the region's natural beauty and you can find him hiking and backpacking through forests, alpine meadows and over mountains - mostly in the north Cascades and Olympic Peninsula. He also has a lifelong interest in the region's history that features prominently in his work. |
