SKEET WILL
Born in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia in 1943, Skeet Will grew up in Arlington across the river from Washington D.C. and married a girl from his hometown in 1964. Their twin daughters were born in 1966. Skeet's wife, Mary, died from cancer in 2010 and he lost one of the twins, Diane, to PKD in 2015.
One morning in March 2019 at age 76, Skeet woke up and began writing about a dream he’d had that night. He's never stopped. His first novel, Me and Jinx, was published in 2020. Another, The BookSeller, in 2021 and another, Annaliese Fry, M.D., in 2023. He is currently at work on his fourth with plans for a fifth. Skeet currently lives in Gresham, OR with Bev, his longtime partner, and three cats, one of whom is little, black and named Jinx. His daughter, Samantha and Granddaughter Lily are close by. Skeet be 80 years old in July 2023. |
